The Directorate of Urban Land Transport every year organizes the internship program. In 2020, due to COVID-19 Pandemic, DULT has organized the internship program online. The selected interns were assigned to work on the below mentioned subjects:

1. Area Redevelopment and rejuvenation
2. Transit Oriented Development
3. Public Bicycle Sharing System
4. Revised Master Plan 2031
5. Mobility as a service
6. Toolkit for area planning
7. Green Link Programme
8. Toolkit for design, evaluation of public infrastructure
